The Simpsons Game Demo Impressions (360)
The premise of this demo (and I assume the rest of the game) is pretty simple - attack the enemies that swarm you, working towards killing the boss while collecting various items along the way. You have a few basic attacks, which are different depending on who you play as (Homer and Bart are in the demo, Marge and Lisa will also be in the full game), and can also activate either Homer Ball or Bart Cape, each of which gives you more you can do. It’s pretty straightforward, and while the gameplay isn’t bad it isn’t anything amazing either. I could see it getting a bit repetitive, but the variety in levels in the full game will probably prevent that from happening.

A demo for The Simpsons Game is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace, so for only 442.71 MB of your hard drive space and a bit of your time you can see if the game is any good. The trailers for the Medal of Homer and Neverquest levels look great, so lets hope the rest of the game is just as good, and it’s actually fun and doesn’t just look good but play bad. After Kang and Kodos use their Halloween ray on Springfield’s famous Lard Lad statue, it’s up to Homer and Bart to stop the rampaging mascot from destroying the town. To do this the two must fend off waves of miniature Krusty dolls while avoiding Lard Lad’s destructive laser and stomp attacks in an attempt to pull out his wiring. Will our heroes prevail? The fate of Springfield is in your hands!
If you don’t have a 360 though, a demo has been on the PlayStation Network for a bit so you can go get it there too. And if you don’t have either, well, actually go outside and do something productive.

A new trailer for The Simpson’s Game is out, this one for the Neverquest level. There was already a trailer for the “Medal of Homer” level, and these are only two of the games that will appear in some form in The Simpson’s Game - which is looking like it’s going to be well done and pretty hilarious.

A new trailer for The Simpson’s Game is out, and it looks like it could be a pretty good, funny, and entertaining game. This trailer is based off Medal of Honor, but that is only one of the many games that will be mimicked, parodied, and mocked when the game comes out - I can’t wait to see what other video game references they have in store for us.
