And Yet, It Is Incredible
And Yet It Moves, a puzzling solving platformer from independent developer developer Broken Rules for the Mac, PC, and soon coming to WiiWare, will instantly make you think of Braid. Though the two games look and play nothing alike, Braid has somewhat become the mantle-piece for indie games in the gaming subconcious, the shining example of the greatness than can be achieved without a big-name publisher and developers who want to think outside of the box. It doesn’t help that both are platformers, either, but as soon as you set your fingers to the five keys that control the world of And Yet It Moves you will become engrossed in a game that stands alone.

Review: Madden 10
In the opening sequence of Madden 10, John Madden himself promises you “I’ve seen a lot of games, but I have a feeling that this one is gonna be special.”
Big words, for a franchise that has come under quite a lot of fire the past few years for not being innovative or special whatsoever. Gone were the days when 2k and EA pushed themselves to their creative limits and brought about many of the staples now found in almost every football game (I remember the first year of the hit stick; it was EPPIIICC). Many critical sports gamers have, like John, seen a lot of games since EA’s exclusive deal with the NFL went down - and many of them feel that all of those games were far too similar to merit a yearly $60 investment into nothing more than a glorified roster redux. 2010, though, promises to be anything but more of the same, packed to the brim with new features galore. Does the game deliver on the promise put down by its namesake; is 2010 special? Find out after the jump

Xbox 360 Drops Price to Duke it out with the PS3

We’re simply waiting on more Pro models to be phased out. At work today I took a look at the new box for XB360 Elites, it DID NOT include the Pro model on the side table any longer nor did we get shipped any additional XB360 Pros (Also, the Elite will no longer come with HDMI cables…just AV).

Persona 3 Portable

Persona 3 is coming to the PSP. Scans have been floating around from inside of Famitsu’s newest issue where the information has been derived. Due to Persona 4’s strong reception both in Japan and in the States we should be seeing this one in the US. Rumors abound that you will be able to play the all-new female character pictured above as the main character. Possibly following in the footsteps of Harvest Moon, details remain to be seen.
