Downloading, What you Need to Play.

Quite simply - A list of exclusive downloads for each current generation console that you should at the very least, look into. (Excluding remakes, and multi-platform titles)
PS3 - PSN
#1 - Flower

( 1 player)
Floating through the air in order to cleanse the land couldn’t be more laid-back and entertaining
#2 - Everyday Shooter
![]()
( 1 player)
If you remember Asteroids…Then you already have an idea of what Everyday Shooter is like at its’ core
#3 - Pixeljunk Monsters
( 1-2 player co-op on a single console)
A cooperative tower defense romp with a slew of scenarios and an expansion for those whom feel there wasn’t enough.
XB360 - Xbox Live Arcade
#1 - Castle Crashers

(1-4 players offline and online)
Four player action-oriented romp which is an advancement on its’ predecessors’ throwing in a couple RPG elements - Reminiscent of Streets of Rage, TMNT, Golden Axe, and the under-appreciated Guardian Heroes.
#2 - Braid
(1 player)
A 2D side scroll-er with the twist of being able to warp time in a multitude of ways, with a complete artistic style that makes the game charming and easy on the eyes.
#3 - Splosion Man

(1-4 players offline and online)
Platformer where you ‘explode’ to jump….and in order to propel your allies as well - Makes me more enticed by the idea of New Super Mario Bros. Wii
WiiWare
#1 - Swords & Soldiers

(1 player campaign - 2 player versus mode)
By far the best “Real-Time-Strategy” game available for any console, as the interface and gameplay is entertaining and intuitive utilizing a slightly slimmer RTS experience by nature of the game being 2D
#2 - Lost Winds

(1 player)
A classic style platformer which employs the wii remote to control the ‘winds’ which are your special powers/abilities which you use to fly through the air and clear the area of enemies, with a gentle and ‘airy’ artistic style
#3 - Final Fantasy IV : The After Years

(1 player)
Continuing on with Final Fantasy IV this game is in many ways superior to its’ predecessor while retaining most of, if not all tenets which make it retro, despite being a new release - Think Megaman 9

We should def. play that again soon.
Of course not, that’s not a download title. I agree with the idea though.
