Despite all the excitement for E3, Nintendo’s online store won’t miss a beat. This week we’re given 3 new games to waste money on! Hit the jump to find out what they are!
Most Nintendo fans will already be familiar with Donkey Kong 3 (500 Wii Points) for the NES. The concept of Donkey Kong 3 is simple: take control of Stanley the bug man and shoot all of the giant bugs that Donkey Kong is throwing at your for some reason. While it’s a classically fun arcade title, Donkey Kong 3 just doesn’t hold up to its predecessors.
If you like ninjas, commandos and up-scrolling shooters, you’re in luck this week as Ninja Commando (900 Wii Points) for the Neo-Geo was also released. Take control of a ninja commando alone or with a friend for classic up-scrolling action. Complete with different power ups and special moves, Ninja Commando actually seems like a solid way to use up the dwindling space on your Wii.
WiiWare brings us the embarrassing Major League Eating: The Game (1000 Wii Points). All I can think is, “why?” Please do the gaming community a favor and skip over this in the hopes that the developers refuse to make a Major League Eating: The Game 2.
