Resident Evil 5 Trailer: Zombies!!!!
Resident Evil has always been one of my favorite game series. The suspense of having a zombie or mutant dog jump out and attack me is second-to-none. Nothing beats the warm, fuzzy feeling I get knowing that I get to keep my kidney for a little while longer.
A new Resident Evil 5 trailer has been released that just looks sweet. There were a couple moments with tons of zombies on screen as well as some suspenseful moments. Capcom is getting ready to give me the bloody good time I want. What do you guys think? Are you all excited for some zombie killing?
Resident Evil 5 will be released in 2009 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

3 commentsToo Human Co-Op trailer
Here’s a game that just really needs to come out. Dennis Dyack seems like a great guy, but after so many years of hearing him talk about Too Human, I just want to play the damn thing for myself. Luckily, this trailer that focuses on the co-op element of Silicon Knights’ oft-delayed action-RPG is enough to tide me over until the game’s release in August.
A quick note: The first third or so of the clip is the only part focused on Too Human with the rest of the time being devoted to a History Channelesque look at “The Goblin Man”, so heads up. You can also get this on the Xbox Live Marketplace, so pick your poison.

Now, I know that video games with some amount of sex appeal tend to sell well, but I’m pretty sure that only works if the sex appeal in question doesn’t say stupid one-liners like, “Don’t be afraid of women with muscles, boys; we are not afraid of yours.” Ugh.
Anyway, this is Gina Carano, and she’ll be playing Natasha in Red Alert 3. This is shameless, EA. I’m surprised you guys don’t just have her playing with a tiberium dildo or something…

No commentsReview: Assault Heroes 2 (XBLA)
The Xbox Live Arcade is a unique creature. Most of the time, it spits out dreck and crud with the frequency of a sewage plant. But on rare occasions, a hidden gem will shine through at just the right time to restore our faith in the service. One such game was the original Assault Heroes, a two-stick shooter in the vein of Geometry Wars. What set it apart was that on top of such simple gameplay, developer Wanako Games provided a unique presentation with the use of multiple vehicles and realized enemies, rather than simple shapes.
The game was such a fun, little experience and so well received that Sierra released a sequel for it a few weeks ago. But does Assault Heroes 2 provide anything new, or is it just more of the same? Keep reading to find out.

New Guitar Hero: On Tour trailer promotes failure, discourages buying the game
A new trailer for Guitar Hero: On Tour is out, and I have to say that it just plain sucks.
It’s not very well done and it just keeps on going, so it ends up being embarrassing for everyone involved.
I know this isn’t meant to be a serious trailer, but I don’t think it was supposed to be this bad either. They are trying to sell a game, after all. They could have went with the easiest option and just put some almost naked chicks in there somewhere, or they could have followed the Guitar Hero: World Tour approach and just showed people rocking out with a list of features, both of which would have ended up a lot better than some guy picking his DS and some dumbass singing about all the features. Especially when you have the kind of features that Guitar Hero: On Tour has.

For those of you that don’t recognize that pig–and I’m sure there are a saddening amount of you out there–his name is Pey’j, and he played a major role in 2003’s amazing sleeper hit Beyond Good & Evil. This trailer, shown at Ubisoft’s UbiDays Paris event today, is essentially the confirmation of a sequel. For anybody that’s played the original, this should be some damnably exciting news. For anybody that hasn’t, what the hell? Go out and pick it up so you’ll know where the story stands once this second one comes out. You’re doing yourself a disservice as a gamer if you don’t!
No news yet on a release date or what platforms it’ll be available for.
