Guitar Hero: On Tour tracklist announced
While it was originally announced that On Tour would sport a whopping 25 songs, Activision announced in Nintendo Power what will most likely be the 15 non-secret tracks. They are:
Do What You Want - OK Go
All The Small Things - Blink 182
Spiderwebs - No Doubt
Are You Gona Be My Girl - Jet
We’re Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
All Star - Smash Mouth
Breed - Nirvana
Jessie’s Girl - Rick Springfield
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar
This Love - Maroon 5
Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
Helicopter - Bloc Party
China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (cover by Line 6)
What I Want - Daughtry
I suppose it seems like a decent enough set list, but at this point I feel that it’s downright inexcusable to not be bringing AC/DC into the Guitar Hero franchise. I mean, c’mon! Oh well, there are still 10 yet-to-be-announced songs on there, so we’ll see how they round this off.

This game just doesn’t seem like it’s going to appeal to anyone other than casual gamers. The hardcore Rock Band/Guitar Hero players that play most levels on Expert aren’t going to be into this very much.
Well, the whole franchise appeals to casual gamers. That’s why it’s so damn popular. The problem I see with the DS is that the tactile feeling of holding the guitar controller won’t be there, and I feel that that’s what made the original GH such a unique experience.
Setlist is shit.
I hate Guitar Hero now.
God damnit, why can’t “Spiderwebs” be on the console versions as well. Maybe they’re planning another No Doubt track pack… that would be great.
The Guitar hero setlists have always been garbage.
More reasons not to care about this iteration!
Not all of those songs suck, just most of them. I’ll try this game out- I’ll have to dust off my ds though…
I agree, not all of the songs suck, but here’s what Guitar Hero: On Tour has going for it so far now:
Cons
-Only has 25 songs in it
-Arguably half of the songs aren’t good
-Only has four fret buttons
-Sound quality is mediocre
-Screen will move when playing
-No feeling of holding a guitar
Pros
-Portable
“No feeling of holding a guitar”
How long do you think it’ll take before someone mods a GH controller with a DS so you can play this game that way? It will kind of lose the portable aspect…but I bet someone will try anyway.
