Chrono Trigger: Resurrection being resurrected!

It looks like the team behind the once-homebrew, 3D version of Chrono’s earliest adventure has finally settled things with Square-Enix. If you’ll recall, the game was put to an end by Squenix after some copyright infringement accusations came up way back in 2004. Well, according to the team’s official website, it looks like they might have made amends with the RPG giant and are now working together to get Chrono Trigger: Resurrection to WiiWare and PSN within the next year. We’re happy to announce that the Chrono Trigger: Resurrection project has officially reopened! With the assistance of the fine people at Square Enix, we are aiming to have the game finished and released on the Playstation Store and Nintendo’s WiiWare in the spring of 2009.     Finally!!!!!!!!!! I want this to come out soon!!!!! It looks so awesome. Since 2004 I have been waiting and playing the trailer…WiiWare here I come^-^

    Kinda of weird that you post this on April 1st… any other date would have make me beleive but seing this… Probably a bad april fool.

    SE would never settle things with anything to do with copyright if they dont like it its not coming this is really fake if this was real the website would have announced it and the fourm would have sparked back up look at the dates the fourms are crap now with beggers at every corner and people hoping for leaks the project said they would listen if they got a Ceist and decist order I highly doubt they would bug Square again about the issue

    anyway this is very fake until i see some real proof from Nathan Lazur Stfu
