MEGAMonday New Releases: 03/17/08

This week of new games isn’t quite a “best week ever” when it comes to content, but we do see the release of three, maybe 4 quality games (in my opinion) that I have been somewhat buzzing to see come out. Click the jump below to be amazed with the content we get this week.
We PS3 owners can finally celebrate the release of Condemned 2: Bloodshot on the PS3. Also coming out on the PS3 this week is Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 which promises to be every bit as good as the 360 version minus the accessibility of Xbox Live (hurry up and come out PS Home, so I don’t have to make this comment anymore)
Those who have patiently waited for the Hot Shots Golf series will be happy to know that the latest version Out of Bounds will be out this week as well. Another late comer for the PS3 is Karaoke Revolution: American Idol which has been out for the 360 for weeks now…ok nothing to see here, moving on.
Out for the Xbox 360 this week is again Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 which I am sure I’ll be getting when I come back from California. Also out for the 360 is…well, you can alway get Condemned 2 that came out last week or some more Microsoft points. Other than R6:V2, there really isn’t anything out until next week when we get a crack at Dark Sector.
On the handheld scene, there’s some Go Pets game for the DS, another generic card game for the PSP called World Championship Cards, Sega Superstars Tennis for the DS, and finally a game that I think I actually might get for the DS, Final Fantasy Crystal: Ring of Fates.
Other than that there’s yet another version of Singstar coming out for the PlayStation 2, wait why is Sony still making games for the last-gen consoles? Oh wait, that’s right, a huge install base.
Finally the hits continue on Nintendo’s waggle-crazy Wii. I can’t even comment on the following lineup without seeming like an anti-Nintendo fanboy so here is your list of games for the Wii:
George of the Jungle and the Search for the Secret
Sega Superstars Tennis
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
Worms: A Space Oddity
WWII Aces
Tune in again next week to see what wares your favorite companies will be offering us consumers that are so lucky to be able to purchase, next MEGAMonday.

Hey, Worms: A Space Oddity has actually been garnering decent reviews. I’ve been watching it, but what I want to know but I haven’t heard one way or the other, is whether there is a single player campaign, or if it’s strictly a multiplayer experience.
Apparently, it doesn’t have online multiplayer.
I know that, but does it have single player aside from playing multiplayer battles against the computer? The old Worms games had several different mission-type things, and that’s what I’d mostly want out of it, because I don’t have people over often enough to enjoy offline multiplayer games.
