Doctor Who Getting Video Game Incarnation

One of the problems with being a (relatively) young gamer is the inability to get excited about older pop culture references and inspirations in the gaming industry. Such is the problem with the recent announcement of a Doctor Who Video game. I’m sure there are plenty of people that couldn’t be more thrilled that the long running British TV series is getting a video game title. But me? I really couldn’t care less. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll give the game a chance when it comes out, but there’s absolutely no hype in it whatsoever for me.
The details are sparse as of now, as an Eidos representative said they “haven’t announced a release date at the moment. It’s not too far away.” What we are sure about, however, is the game will be playable on the PS2, DS, and PC. More details will be posted as they come along.

PS2, DS, and PC. Looks like they’re throwing the big bucks behind this one, huh?
Dr. Who who?
What? I know a lot of USA teeners think this is for the old over-30 geeks, but the latest incarnation of Dr. Who on BBC has spawned something like 3 hit spin off series in Great Britian during the past couple of years and is wildly popular there.
