AOU SF4 Trailer Looks Good, Real Good
The more the merrier I always say. Or actually I never say that, but since I now have the occassion to say it, I am. We just got some video of Street Fighter 4 from AOU 2008 Amusment Expo sent over to us and while it isn’t brand spanking new it is still awesome. This time we get three minutes of fighting featuring all the characters who have been released, including the newcomers and plenty of special moves. The game looks smoother and more polished every time I see new stuff for it and this is no exception.
I must admit that when the first screens came out I was a bit skeptical but the more I see the game in action the more excited I am about it. The 3D/2D mechanics look like they’re going to awesome, especially with the camera moving around for special moves like Guiles in the video above but the art style still seems to maintain the spirit of the tradtional 2D Street Fighter art. Maybe it’s the expressive faces or the smoothness of the movements or just the style in general but it all looks exactly like I want it.
Except for one thing. 3D E. Honda crotch has got to go.
