Sony announces “Deep Red” God of War PSP bundle

I think we should all mark February 26th down as the official Sony day. In addition to the two previous announcements made today, Sony has announced that they will be releasing a limited edition God of War PSP entertainment bundle in June of this year. The bundle will include a limited edition “Deep Red” PSP (ooh, shiny!) with the hero of God of War, Kratos, etched into the back, along with a copy of the game God of War: Chains of Olympus, the smash-hit comedy Superbad on UMD, and a voucher to download a copy of the Playstation One game, Syphon Filter: Combat Ops, from the Playstation Store.

All of this for a mere $199.99. Get your checkbooks out, ladies and gentlemen. This is a deal not worth skipping.

I’m actually planning on getting a PSP soon, but I’m left with a choice. Do I get a snazzy PSP Slim, in my choice of colors, possibly bundled with some cool stuff, or do I get my friend’s old fat PSP that he is offering me for the low price of free?

Naturally, I’ll take the free one (it’s free), but should I get a sleeker, sexier one anyway? I did that for the DS, after all.

Hmm, PSP fats aren’t really that big. I don’t even really think there’d be a reason to buy a slim one just because it’s a bit skinnier.

The biggest reason to get a slim is that it has twice the ram compared to the fat. Still, can’t argue with free.

That’s a damn sexy PSP though. DO WANT
