Rumor: March Rock Band DLC leaked? *UPDATED*

By Woody

Rock Band

Update - 2/1 - Harmonix just sent over an official statement regarding the leak:

“The calendar of Rock Band DLC for March 2007 printed in the latest issue of OXM is a tentative schedule and subject to change. Please stay tuned for confirmation of Rock Band DLC closer to their release.”

- lawl

The community over at ScoreHero, considered to be one of the best sources on Rock Band/Guitar Hero info, have supposedly gotten their hands on a copy of the March issue of OXM early. What’s so special about a dumb magazine you ask? Well, this particular issue supposedly has the full release list of Rock Band DLC for March. For all 12 songs, hit the jump.

Week of Mar. 4: Thrash Pack (440 MS points/ $5.50)

* Blinded By Fear - At The Gates (160 MS points/ $2)
* Thrasher - Evile (160 MS points/ $2)
* Shadow World - Haunted (160 MS Points / $2)

Week of Mar. 11: Singles

* Shooting Star - Bad Company *Cover* (160 MS points/ $2)
* Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd (160 MS points/ $2)
* Message In A Bottle - Police (160 MS Points / $2)

Week of Mar. 18: Nine Inch Nails Pack (440 MS points/ $5.50)

* March Of The Pigs (160 MS points/ $2)
* The Collector (160 MS points/ $2)
* The Perfect Drug (160 MS Points / $2)

Week of Mar. 25: Metal Pack (440 MS points/ $5.50)

* Wrathchild - Ironmaiden *Cover* (160 MS points/ $2)
* Supernaut - Black Sabbath *Cover* (160 MS points/ $2)
* Fuel - Metallica (160 MS Points / $2)

What do you think of all this? I’ve never even heard of the bands from the first pack. I think Simple Man would be a great one, and despite what flames may be hurled at me, I would honestly enjoy Fuel, especially singing. If these are truly the confirmed releases, March should be quite the month for Bfeld.

    We need (Three Inches Of Blood) songs just as much as we would need/want Britney Spears or Simple Plan.
    These don’t look too bad, but the NIN pack looks like crap.

    Ahh, back when I downloaded the Police Pack when the game came out, I wished that they had replaced Synchronicity II with Message in a Bottle. Now I can give them more of my money!

    Wait a minute…March of the Pigs: “I wanna smash it up, I wanna fuck it up”

    Are they going to leave this shit uncensored, because that’s the first naughty naughty that I’ve heard from any Rock Band song?

  13. backflip January 31st, 2008 7:41 pm

    Totally gonna be censored. This is MTV we’re talking about here, Morty.

  14. Kevin February 5th, 2008 7:44 am

    yeah it will be censored. the real lyrics to creep are “your so fucking special” instead of “your so very special” like in RB.

    Sad month for me.

    Tool, MCR please, plus I really want more: The Killers, Garbage, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, other newer stuff.

    I’d like to see some more Bang Camaro. I’d also like to see some Triumph, Van Halen, Queensryche, and Def Leppard (all of which I’m sure I’ll never see :-(

    Well that was a bad leak…they got nothing right. Well the NIN was right, but wrong date.
    Next time they have a leask, just plug it.
