Final Brawl roster leaked! Lots of screens included! (updated)
Originally, I wasn’t going to post anything on the front page, but last night was just TOO epic as far as information on Super Smash Bros. Brawl goes. I watched with bated breath as one lucky Japanese gamer streamed hours of gameplay from Brawl on the net. So what happened? Hit the jump for major, major spoilers.
The night started out with a confirmation of Luigi, as seen here:
Shortly after, we got a confirmation of Captain Falcon…
And then Marth right after that!
As the night went on, we heard news of Ness, Ganondorf, Falco, Game and Watch, Lucario, and R.O.B. the robot–you know, that old NES accessory that made it into Mario Kart DS–and Toon Link.
With all of this news, it looks like the roster is going to be 35 characters big, since that’s all that’ll fit on the character select screen. This corroborates with one of the leaked rosters that’s been floating around for a while, which means that the last of the unconfirmed characters would be Jigglypuff and Wolf (from Starfox).

Edit: Behold! The FINAL ROSTER!
This is the genuine article, people! As you can see, the prophesy of Wolf being in Brawl is true, which means that most columns represent a game franchise. i.e., the first row is Mario characters, the second row is Mario spinoff characters, then NES classics, Kirby series, Starfox Series, Pokemon series, and finally the Fire Emblem/Earthbound series. Personally, I feel this roster is solid, though the lack of Bowser Jr., Ridley, and Geno is really disappointing. Oh well, at least Sonic’s in, and that’s what really counts!

I’ve stopped watching anything. I’m to try to actually be suprised by something.
its cool i guess. wasnt really ever impressed by the same game released on every nintendo system it seems.
3/10 for the trolling. In what way is this the same game? Not only is the Smash series a completely unique genre, but each game has brought something new to the table. What other series can claim this?

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I was really worried that Luigi and Captain Falcon wouldn’t make it in. Dojo was ticking me off. Why would the put me through that kind of stress. I can finally start sleeping again.
