GTA IV’s release date is April 29th
Take-2 just sent over a PR that finally answers the question that’s been on all our minds since Grand Theft Auto IV didn’t make its 10-17-07 release date - just when the f*ck is it coming out? April 29th, that’s when.
They also mentioned that it’s going to be a worldwide simultaneous release, so you guys who aren’t in America will be killing hookers with a baseball bat right along with us.

Can the PR cliches come to an end, like soon?
Also, it seems that the delay is because development of the PS3 version was too difficult or something.

That’s actually pretty soon. Even though it was originally slated for last year, I’m kind of surprised it’s coming out in just a couple months.
