Free Game is Free. Undertow is Microsoft’s Apology

As reported before Microsoft is handing out a free game to make up for all that trouble Xbox LIVE being so popular over the holiday season caused. Today it was revealed that that free game will be Undertow which is an underwater shooter where you shoot things…underwater. Can you tell I’m not that excited? Sure it is a free game but does it really make up for all the problems if it’s a free game that you don’t want to download?
Anyway, if you want to get your hands on this all Xbox LIVE members (Gold and Silver) around the world will have access to the game beginning next Wednesday, 2 a.m. PST through Sunday, 11:59 p.m. PST. If you already own the game you can contact customer support and get your 800 points back that way.

If, like me, you were out of the country with no 360 and no Internet access and so didn’t have any problems, then hell yes. I get the same free game without having to deal with anything at all
P.S. Blub, blub, blub!
Yeah, I’m into it. I was away from my 360 for two weeks, so I only endured a week or two of lame XBox Live stuff, and I’ll take it if it’s free (and if it’s as bad as Yaris, I’ll immediately delete it). I really like that they’re also refunding the points for anybody who bought it. I wish they had done that with Carcassonne.
Meh, I never bothered to buy it, so I’ll take it.
I hate Microsoft.
Meh, I really didn’t have many XBL problems except slow loading/matchmaking, etc so this is a solid deal.
So who likes this game and what is it like?
