Rock Band’s January DLC leaked

Joystiq seems to have caught a mistake that Microsoft made on Xbox.com. I guess the folks at Microsoft accidentally posted the rest of Rock Band’s DLC for the entire month. Big “oops” on that. Here’s the leaked info:

Week of Jan. 22: Oasis Pack (440 MS points/ $5.50)

* Don’t Look Back in Anger (160 MS points/ $2)
* Live Forever (160 MS points/ $2)
* Wonderwall (160 MS Points / $2)

Week of Jan. 29: Progressive Pack (440 MS points/ $5.50)

* Siva - Smashing Pumpkins (160 MS points/ $2)
* Working Man - Rush *Cover* (160 MS points/ $2)
* Ten Speed (Of God’s Blood and Burial) - Coheed and Cambria *Cover* (160 MS Points / $2)

I’m pretty excited to hear that Oasis is on their way to this awesome game. I would most definitely hash my money out to play Wonderwall. As for the other pack, you can count me out. I don’t think it’d be fun to play a crappy cover of an already crappy band (no, I’m not talking about Rush, so don’t go apeshit on the comments).

    While I agree Oasis will be cool and I love Rush’s sound.. but damn, We need some Children of Bodom, more Avenged Sevenfold, maybe another Dragonforce song, more In Flames, The Confession… damn, just, give us some good metal/metal-core… I need some good, hard stuff to play…

    I’m glad they’re giving us songs that people actually like for Rock Band, rather than obscure metal that makes people feel hardcore.

    As far as the Oasis pack, I might or might not pick it up, but from the progressive pack, I’ll probably grab Siva. Smashing Pumpkins rock.

    Coheed and Cambria sounds alright but their singer is terrible. For me he kills everything.

    Well if you like his voice then you will probably also enjoy licking grape jelly out of a sloth’s ass.
