Rez HD is Coming Soon. Can Still Turn on Your Girlfriend
I had the pleasure of being introduced to Rez at MAGFest over the weekend. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really able to fully appreciate it as I was playing in a loud room full of gamers and thus couldn’t hear the music all that well. Still, I could tell the game was something special and was desperately excited when I found out that it will be coming to us via Xbox Live within the next few weeks in the form of Rez HD at the cost of around $10.
This, of course, is great news in and of itself, but the real reason we all know about Rez is because of its, how shall I put this, enticing peripherals. While Rez HD won’t support the Trance Vibrator all is not lost for those of you looking for a little quality time with your significant other while playing games. Wired is reporting that in lieu of the conveniently shaped peripheral there will be a setting that allows all four 360 controllers to vibrate along with the beats in the game, meaning that as long you’re cool with your controllers being used “creatively” Rez could possibly be up to three times more fun than it was before.
