The new Guitar Hero III DLC will make you want to rip your ears off

By BFeld

Honestly, I want to know what genius at Neversoft said “Hey, let’s release tracks for obscure European bands! Everyone will love it!” The above video showcases the song “Ernten Was Wir Säen” by Die Fantastischen Vier. I’m pretty sure I heard the singer say stuff about showers and Final Solutions a few times (Oh, I went there). Another song, “Antisocial”, by totally world-famous French band Trust is available after the jump, as well as a few other ‘goodies’.

Activision was also sadistic kind enough to release the creatively titled Warner/reprise track pack with favorites such as “Pretty Handsome Awkward” by The Used, “Sleeping Giant” by Mastadon, and “No More Sorrow” by Linkin Park. It’s like they completely copied my Music to slit wrists to playlist! It shouldn’t come as a surprise that these three songs are only available as a pack. The video is below.

With any luck, Activision’s recent merger will allow them to raid Vivendi Universal’s library and come up with some songs that don’t totally suck.

The best part of the DLC is the free song, We Three Kings, by Steve Ouimet.
