Subject: Moving home, Nor’easters and holiday shopping
As you may or may not know, my finals concluded this past week and, as a result, I’ve been moving home to live with the ‘rents for a few weeks. On the car ride home, I had daydreams consisting of hours upon hours of uninterrupted gaming both on my 360 and Wii. Unfortunately, over the past couple of days, this has not been the case.
The night that I returned home, a giant Nor’easter hit the Tri-State area, and subsequently continued to ruin my weekend. I spent hours outside with a shovel in my hand and frown on my face, shoveling the driveway free from the wintry mix. Then, I was decidely swept up in Christmas shopping for the rest of the weekend, leaving approximately oh, 3 hours for me to game. Thus far I’ve gotten around 6 or so stars in Super Mario Galaxy, played through Halo 3’s new downloadable maps a few times (expect an impressions post soon) and beaten a few worlds in New Super Mario Bros on my brother’s DS.
Hopefully your weekends have been better.

Well i’m broke from christmas shopping but had a great holiday party and got all 120 stars in Mario and decided to start playing super metroid (I’ve never played it). I also got to play some Halo3 with two of my best friends who are in Japan and I haven’t spoken to in forever. I also had pancakes this morning. Oh and I picked up the new Serenity DVD. Umm there was so bad stuff. My tree wouldn’t fit the stand so I had to do a lot of sawing…
GREAT. And now my 360 doesn’t recognize that it’s plugged into the router.
Fucking wonderful fucking weekend.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, my finals are THIS week, and then I get to go home where I’m sure I’ll be subjected to as many chores as my family believes it can reasonably give me.
BAWWWWWWW. Hopefully I’ll get something cool for Christmas.
@ziz: We have so many writers now that I can’t remember everyone’s names on the spot. Crazy, eh?
I spend the last weekend studying so much that it gave me a migrane. The worst part is that I’m still barely prepared for any of my tests.
I had 2 people show up to my bachelor’s party, didn’t get a good buzz from drinking, got sick from dinner, and slept about half the weekend away. Wheeeee!!!
