Takedown! Burnout Paradise demo coming Dec. 13

The next addition to everyone’s favorite unrealistic racing game, Burnout Paradise, is getting a demo on Xbox Live and Playstation Network in a little more than a week. According to Criterion’s site, the demo will drop in a little more than seven days and nine hours on the 13th of December.

I can honestly say that the Burnout series is possibly one of my favorite series ever, and most certainly my favorite racing genre series ever. There is just nothing like taking down your opponents only a couple hundred feet from the checkered flag and watching them tumble through the air before exploding into a thousand pieces. The first real jump for Burnout into the next generation with Paradise will truly be a welcome addition to my, and many other fans’, gaming collections.

Sweet, I can’t wait - I love the Burnout games. I hope there’s a sampling of online multiplayer included so I can play with the rest of you.

Yeah, I’m really hoping that there’s some sort of multiplayer in there. It would be so bomb if they had a multi Takedown race…

This will be the first Burnout I’ve ever bought as the others I stole from friends or just played on their systems. Gotta love it though.

I’ve never owned a Burnout game, but I watched my roommate play through Crash Mode in Burnout Revenge, and I think I will probably get this game. Sounds like good times.

Ha, I’ve never owned one either, I just played on my friend’s system. I rented Burnout Revenge for a little bit too.
