Night of the DLC: The Wii is getting Guitar Hero content

It might not seem possible, but the Wii version of Guitar Hero III will be receiving downloadable content after all. The fellows over at Nintencast contacted RedOctane and received this response:

Hello,

Thank you for writing us.

Downloadable content for the Wii is something we are working very hard on getting in place for the new year. There is no definite timetable in place but we are hoping it will be soon.

Regards,

RedOctane Customer Support.

It might not be coming before we’ve all had a chance to break our New Years resolutions, but it’s nice to see that Wii owners aren’t missing out on anything. Maybe with the Wii’s limited storage, customers won’t even be subject to the rape that is track packs. Man, do I hate track packs.

    Wow, lots of DLC today.

    Didn’t see this coming, though.
