GameFAQs hacked, polls users asking about Gerstmann situation

It appears that something funky is happening over at GameFAQs, a gaming site owned by giant CNET. You may remember that earlier, Jeff Gerstmann of GameSpot, another gaming site owned by CNET, was fired over a controversial review of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. Allegedly, Gerstmann was fired on the spot for tearing the game to shreds in his video review. Now, somebody is getting CNET back for it. As of right now, the poll results indicate majority of voters believe that GameSpot is now beginning its slow, steady decent, or have no comment. Be sure to chime in with your opinion on the matter.
[UPDATE:
It appears the poll has been fixed, and when you try and view the results you are given a 404 error because "This poll is not currently available." Unfortunately, it looks like they have found it already - but it's still pretty amazing that a site owned by such a huge company could be hacked so easily. I screencapped the results just recently and so they are pretty accurate as to what people thought before the poll was removed, so here are the results of the hacked poll of the day:

The people have spoken. This is probably the worst thing GameSpot could have done, since it has ruined their credibility and reputation, while they have also lost any respect anyone may have had for them.
CNET did it, not GameSpot.
Who said it was easy?
I must have missed it. The poll hacking, that is.
I’m pretty sure these were the results of the poll before the answers got hacked. So the numbers don’t actually represent people answering the hacked question.
All the same- bravo.
I’m happy to see that “No Comment” finally got it’s well deserved victory.
Why is it so difficult to use “its” correctly?
i’m with chastain, and why can’t people spell::::descent, not decent
“No Comment” twice?
Ya, no comment from Jeff and no comment from gamespot.
@Mike
Because people are dumb, and the English dictionary must be dumbed down to accomodate. It’s a pity…
It’s just like when people say “loose” instead of “lose” or “then” rather than “than”. Sure it digs under your skin, but people don’t learn.
Ugh, nothing riles me up more than the “then”/”than” debacle.
People need to learn grammar.
Hey SOS: Try “accommodate” … missed yer second M there, pal…
It’s such a bad thing when something like this happens. There is always http://godtube.com to fall back on.
I also hate people who start their sentence with “because” I mean come on man!
Uh….I doubt it was hacked….GameFaqs could have just edited it so people would give input. It can’t be hacked THAT easy…
“GameFaqs could have just edited it so people would give input. It can’t be hacked THAT easy…”
Again, why would GameFAQs address an issue on a public poll that they had been so quiet on in the recent past? It doesn’t add up.
I have a question for those that care so much about grammar. Do you like grammar more than sex?
then shutup who cares. Oops i mean “than”
I’m a member of GameFAQs/GameSpot, and I honestly can say its going downhill. GameFAQs should be called GameFails.
As for the grammar… you either use it and people actually read your posts, or you can get labeled as Jack The Ripper, seeing as he’s a famous english murderer.
LOL @ the hacked poll, if it was actually hacked.
