Super Duper Deal of the Day: Bioshock and The Darkness for only $50!
No, that is no typo on my part. Straight from the mouth of the beast comes news that Amazon is currently selling both Bioshock and The Darkness for a measley $50 together.
Bioshock is a first-person shooter that places you in the secret underwater world of Rapture, in which you must jump, shoot and zap your way through to help restore order.
The Darkness is also a first-person shooter, this time located in New York City, that drops you in the middle of a war between a mob family. Using your special dark powers, you must come to your senses and eliminate all of the bad gangsters, who are all trying to kill you.
Both of these games are incredibly fun, save a few parts of Bioshrug, and if you haven’t played either game and have a few dollars to spend, I’d say pick them up immediately for this low, low price.

Bioshock was “OK” at best when I played it at a buddies house, but it wasn’t a prolonged playthrough so I can’t really say I had a chance to get enthralled in it.
Now if it were Gears of War and Bioshock, I would be all over it. Which brings up an interesting matter; why is Gears of War still $60 now? I figured that game would have dropped in price by now.
It’s $60 probably because of how huge a hit it was. I expect Halo 3 to be $60 for quite a while before the price drop.
It was a huge hit a year ago, but I’ve seen even big name games drop in price somewhat. I mean, hell, $40 could get me to bite. But I ain’t doing so on a year old game until it drops.
morty if you get a chance play both these games on your 360. the darkness is simply kick ass and bioshock is an amazing 1st person shooter/rpg game. both are great
