New technology will simulate getting shot in PC games, pain has never been so fun!

TN Games is going to release a vest for use with PCs, which will add a new level of realism to FPS games - by simulating getting hit by bullets in-game.
That’s right - come November 21st, for $169 you get to feel what’s it like to get shot. Repeatedly. Every single time you get shot in the game. While that sure doesn’t sound like loads of fun, the founder of TN Games Mark Umbrella Ombrellaro seems pretty enthusiastic:
Our patented vest technology now provides gamers with an unprecedented opportunity to physically experience their action… feel the rush of body slams, be crushed with G-forces, feel a stab wound or be blasted with bullet fire in either a single or multi-player game
Why not just join a gang or get in a fight? It’s certainly cheaper. It doesn’t even seem that realistic - there are eight pressure points, four each on the front and back, so if you happen to get shot anywhere else you’ll either feel nothing or be confused as to why you just got jabbed in the stomach when you were clearly shot somewhere else.
I guess at least it motivates you to play better, right?

I heard from people who demoed this at E for All. They said it just feels like somebody poking you with their finger. Not quite like a gunshot wound, I would imagine.
Lame. Either go all out or not at all ;).
thats effin wierd. if i wanted to feel that i’d join the military
if the vest Had “pressure points” all over it , it would be ALOT of help in FPS games , say you get shot in the back , you feel a poke in the back , and instantly know , 1 where you where shot , to give u an idea on how much damage was taken , and 2 from which direction , making 180 degree turns to the target easier. im not talking about single player games , im talking games like Counter Strike. would be fun to see , and the Retail price im guessing would be expensive?. the idea is somewhat laughable , but it could act as a useful tool in the world of Competitive FPS Games.
I didn’t really think much about how it could actually help strategically.
You can tell where people are coming from using surround sound too, but that’s more used with consoles.
However, with this you would really only be able to tell whether they were in front of or behind you, which wouldn’t help much since that is already pretty obvious.
I definitely don’t think it’s worth $170.
I’ve seen the TN Games Gaming Vest for only $154. Looks like the price is coming down a bit.
