HADOUKEN! Street Fighter IV announced!

In a recently deleted post over at Games Radar, the crew confirmed that a sequel to the fighter gem, Street Fighter 3, is currently in the works. Apparently, the freaks over at Games Radar were on hand at Capcom’s Gamer’s Day in London. No word as of yet which platform the title will appear on, but I have a feeling that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be seeing it sometime later next year. Personally, I loved 3rd Strike, which appeared on the underrated Dreamcast as well as on the Xbox and PS2, and can’t wait to see the new additions that Capcom makes to the series.

The big question is: will it be 2D or 3D? The answer to that determines my level of interest.

I really hope that they keep it in 2D. 3D fighters, aside from the Smash Bros. series, don’t seem to make the cut.
