Super Mario Bros recreated with Halo 3

By zizzy

Using Halo 3’s map editing feature, Forge, Xbox Live user Finjitzu has created a Super Mario Bros version of Sandtrap. The object of the game is to make it through each waypoint without touching the sand, and through a combination of jumping, running, grenades, and tipped poles he demonstrates how it is possible in the above video.

If you want to try this creative invention for yourself, head on over to his FileShare and download the map. I’m sure this is only the beginning of what people will do with Forge, and I can’t wait to see what other games and designs are recreated in Halo 3.

Eh, I don’t really see it. The biggest problem with this video is that he’s going in the wrong direction; Mario goes left to right.

I don’t see it either. It’s not all that great. Needs less explosions.

To think, all he had to do to make it go the right way was to film from the opposite angle.
