Halo 3, bestselling game in Japan last week

The software sales for last week are in - and Halo 3 has come out on top. While the Xbox 360 usually sells horribly in Japan (and obviously the games for it too) and western games don’t do great either, Halo 3, which has both of those going against it, has managed to sell the most from September 24th to September 30th (the game was released on September 27th). While it may only be 59,000, it’s surprising nonetheless. Here is the full list, so you can see what games Halo beat out for the top spot:
[Platform] Game - This week’s sales/ Overall sales
- [360] Halo 3 - 59,000 / NEW
- [DS] Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon: Toki - 55,000 / 440,000

I don’t want to play against Japanese people though. The ones who DO play FPS games are too good.
It beat out a Pokemon (GASP) game on the DS (double gasp)? How long did that Pokemon game have to be out in order for that to happen?
Surprise, surprise!
Oh no! Say it aint so! It even beat Tamagotchi Petit Petit Omisecchi Minasankyu!?!? NO WAY
Blows the mind. I hear everyone in Japan see everything in widescreen ::rimshot::
Haha, I get jokes.
