Leaked Guitar Hero 3 Setlist is Official; Arrives Oct. 28th [UPDATE: Listen to the songs!]

By lawl

Yeah, I just HAD to use this picture again.

So, a few weeks ago I reported on a supposedly leaked setlist for Guitar Hero 3, which happened to get quite a bit of attention and many people believed we made it up. Well, I have four words for those people: You were wrong, bitches! Activision has just sent out a press release confirming every song on the list, along with a release date, which is Oct. 28th.

Anyway, how do you guys feel now that you know for sure that you’ll be playing these songs? I’m insanely hyped for this shit.

Update: Thanks to kagatoASUKA89, we’ve compiled a playlist on Seeqpod of just about all of the songs.

what happened to F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X by The Fall of Troy that was on ur leaked setlist?

  2. Hellraiser October 3rd, 2007 8:44 am

The set list is ok. I wish it would have some more 80’s and 70’s though. At least some of the newer songs they chose are pretty good.

  3. backflip October 3rd, 2007 9:06 am

    No Slaughter? Dammit.

  4. backflip October 3rd, 2007 9:15 am

    Death metal fucking sucks.

  5. Poopface Morty October 3rd, 2007 11:43 am

Agreed backflip. Death metal is awful, unless it’s the Eagles of Death Metal, who rock goddamn faces off (and they sound more classic/hard rock anyway). Speaking of which, why is there no Eagles of Death Metal in Guitar Hero yet? For shame…

  6. Renegade_Her0 October 3rd, 2007 12:13 pm

what about fcpremix. it was on the leaked playlist as a bonus song but its not on here.

  8. Eris October 3rd, 2007 12:51 pm

Bear in mind that this, still, isn’t necessarily the full setlist. It’s worth bearing in mind that there may still be more to come, including F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.

Well it looks like it’s legit - there are still quite a few songs that have yet to be revealed. Remember, they said “over 70 songs.” Some on that leaked list aren’t announced yet… but by now its a matter of time.

  19. slasher October 6th, 2007 5:46 pm

seems pretty legit, thats a damned sweet list. Cant wait for cliffs of dover. of course some of the releases are bonuses through the fire and flames is a confirmed bonus. but there is a lot missing, i can garuntee the devil went down to georgia wont be the last song and this list is only 50 long. Theyre still missing 5 or six (depending on the number of main tracks) boss battles and of course the encores after (or before i dont think anyone is sure yet) the boss battles. There may be 50 main tracks and 20 bonus songs (give or take) cuz most of the bonus bands from GHI and GHII are signed to redoctane, which sadly means (most likely) no buckethead, no freezepop, no dethklok, no bang camaro, no last vegas, no honest bob, no royal crowns and no vagiant. That makes me a sad panda lmao owell whatever ill just have to get rock band as well once it comes out for the wii
