Halo 3 Master Chief Armor Up for Auction Sells for $21,149?!?!

UPDATE: I didn’t believe it ’till I saw it with my own eyes. The ebay auction for the Halo 3 Spartan Master Chief Armor Costume Helmet Suit ended yesterday on September 20 at 19:34:45 PDT. The final winning bid: ZOMG, US $21,149.00!. Just after 10 days with the starting bid at only US $999.99, the price rose to approximately the price of a brand spanking new car. The only question I have to pose to the winner is “WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?!?!”. See the details of my previous post after the jump to acknowledge the drama that has unfolded before our very eyes.
These days, gaming news isn’t news unless Halo 3 is muttered somewhere in the mix. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you something all fanboys would love to sport at the next wedding reception they plan to attend.
Enter the Halo 3 Spartan Master Chief Armor Costume Helmet Suit (yes, that is the entire, actual title) item up for auction on ebay. As of 8:30 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, September 18, the current bid is US $6,801.00 after 27 bids. The auction was started at US $999.00 on September 10. The epic bidding war will end tomorrow on September 20 at 19:34:45 PDT, so hurry up if you want to set your clams on the table.
The Mjolnir Armor has apparently been featured previously on Spike TV, G4, and in a Dell commercial. The suit is composed of a very hard and durable urethane plastic. Included with the suit is an assault rifle with a barrel and working flashlight. The suit is composed of several pieces, more specifically a breast place, shoulders, forearms, hand plates, belt & cod piece, thighs, shins, ankles, toe plates and boots. The suit is available in classic green or red as featured in the picture above.
Although the hype-train is already big enough for the Halo 3 release, this would be pretty sweet to sport at any release event. I hear all the ladies love men in uniform.

That would be awesome to have. Sure, you’d mostly just get mocked if you wore it around, but you would be a fucking Hero at the midnight launch.
Holy shit, that’s a lot. I wish I was rich enough spend $20,000 on a fucking suit.
Even if I were rich enough to spend $20,000 on a suit, I still wouldn’t be able to justify it. I mean, unless I had like, many millions of dollars stored away with no plan for them.
how do you bild a halo 3 master chief armor. what materials.
Hahaha. Bill Gates probably bought it…
