Editorial: A non-believer tastes Halo 3 “Game Fuel”
Last night, I was in a local grocery store, looking for something to mix with my Saturday evening rum, while I came across the heavily advertised Halo 3 “Game Fuel.” “Well,” I thought to myself, “I’ve heard good things about H3GF. Why not try it out?” That was a mistake that I would regret all night.
By itself, Game Fuel really isn’t that bad. It tastes like the strange sex-child of Spree, Gummi Bears and My Little Ponies. After only a couple of seconds drinking, I exclaimed, “I feel so awake now. I’ve had two fucking sips.”
Now, before I finish my story, let me present a disclaimer. If you choose to mix H3GF with alcohol, do so at your own risk.
Do not, under any circumstances, mix this with Captain Morgan. It kills both unique tastes and leaves you with a concoction that even Master Chief couldn’t drink. Honestly, this strange amalgamation has the tart of Captain and the aftertaste of some sort of Nyquil/soccer-mom-drugs-children-to-sleep clone. That shit kicks like one hell of a burro — and I have a strong stomach.
Overall, however, my experience drinking Game Fuel was mostly positive. After about 5 minutes of drinking it, the Fuel gave me an instant caffeine high, one which stayed with me most of the night until passing out on the beirut table. At any rate, however, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES drink Game Fuel with any type of alcohol.
Fuck, I’m hung over…

Thanks for the heads up… The stuff is decent, but I couldn’t imagine mixing it with hard liquor….
I just tried it for the first time a few days ago. Kind of like liquid gummy-candy mixed with a bunch of other indiscernible flavors - I thought it was pretty good.

Considering that I drank about half a handle of Captain last night along with the Game Fuel and a Rockstar, I’d say I was about 2 or 3 Game Fuels away from sudden death.
I’ve had 3 of them today. Been up for almost 30 hours now…
I really love Game Fuel. And one of the first few nights I’d been drinking it I mixed it with some shitty Mr Boston vodka, and it actually mixed really well, much better than orange juice or sprite. But Captain…eh, I’m sure that was rough
