Halo 3 Marketing: Korean style (Part 2)
The amount of Halo 3 marketing in America is crazy, and there are so many different approaches being taken by Microsoft to ensure that everyone knows that Halo 3 is coming. However, none of them are quite like what is being done in Korea. You may remember the first two videos of Halo 3 marketing in Korea - and now a third is out (embedded above). I still can’t understand Korean, so can’t understand any of the speaking or complicated writing, but the video is pretty weird and hilarious whether you can understand it or not.
From what I can tell, it appears that Master Chief challenges a group of Koreans to StarCraft, and when he loses he decides to take his anger out on them. Who says video games don’t cause violence?
