Halo 3 PAL version sold on eBay for AU $149

A little bit ago pictures surfaced of what appeared to be the final retail version of Halo 3. They ended up being merely display cases - however, Bungie revealed that it was only “days away from real copies starting to legimitately leave the manufacturing plant.” Now it looks like they have, and someone has gotten the PAL version of the game two weeks before it’s officially out. Thanks to eBay, b1onict0wel is the first person to ever purchase a copy of Halo 3.
He was the first bidder, and paid $149.00 Australian Dollars - which is just a bit under $125 good ol’ American Dollars. I’m sure the seller could have gotten a whole lot more if he tried though - if the buyer is smart he’ll resell his copy. While it would mean two more weeks to wait, knowing the fanaticism of some of those eagerly awaiting Halo 3 it would be well worth it. He can always just download the illegal copy that will surely be out shortly.
That is, assuming this is real - and unlike the last time, I think there’s a good chance it is. The above pictures look pretty real, and even show the disc and other items contained within the case.
