Star Ocean 4, PS3 Exclusive

Star Ocean 4 has been revealed in this week’s Famitsu magazine, along with a couple of screenshots and some info. Square-Enix is looking to release Star Ocean 4 has a PS3 exclusive title. The non-linear battle system described in the mag sounds promising.
The company also revealed that a remake of the first Star Ocean games are being released on the PSP. The game will use Star Ocean 2’s battle system, and will also feature new character designs and animation by Production I.G., famous of the Kill Bill animated segment, and Ghost In Shell. The PSP game will be called First Voyage.
Eh, I’ve played Star Ocean 3 and felt like it wasn’t for me, but I do feel like it has a chance to suceed on the PS3. The game has very huge and beautiful looking worlds, and a great battle system. We’ll see how if it’s something to look out for when more information is released.

Wow, it’s a shame the Star Ocean games suck, or else Sony fanboys might have something good to say about their system and its exclusives.
Wow. See, you would be right.
If you weren’t so incredibly wrong.
Star Ocean games are amazing.
If you disagree, I’m sorry you feel that way.
I fully concur with stormrunner, star ocean is an amazing series and number 3 was incredible, i feel sad for you that you think that way :’( prolly one of the best games ill ever play sevreal times just like final fantasy 7 ^__^
This is really old but you need to change your information. Star Ocean 4 as of now is actualy a Xbox 360 exclusive and there has never been any hint of it coming to the PS3 so i dont know where you got that idea. Also, as of now it is one of the best looking games out there from the screenshots i’ve seen.
DUDE,
Where’d u get that picture!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Thats PS3 quality, but with the SO3 characters! What’d I miss; did something change? I thought it was some new characters. ARE SOPHIA AND FAYT BACK!!!!!!!????????
Yeah…I’m pretty sure that I just read in a gameinformer magazine that Square Enix stated that “they have no plans on making a PS3 version of the game.” seeing as this was posted a year and a half ago I guess the guy who posted this is crying in his closet…poor PS3 fanboy.
