Review: Two Worlds (360)
I need to preface this by saying that this piece-of-shit Oblivion clone doesn’t even deserve a full review, so it’s not going to get one, and that you could probably have more fun by taking a chainsaw to your sexual organs. Yes, it’s that bad.
So, here’s some examples as to why this is one of the worst games I’ve ever played:
* Framerate is completely unstable, even when theres no enemies on the screen.
* Graphics are easily PS2 quality
* Character floats around the ground like he’s on skates
* At one point, I got stuck in the air for 30 seconds while jumping
* The story is stupid and boring and cliched and nobody should even care about it
* The voice acting is horrendous
* The sword fighting is awful and the enemies are repetitive
The entire game just fucking sucks and I cannot find a single good thing to say about it. You really shouldn’t buy, rent, or subject yourself in any way to this abortion of a game under any circumstances.

Play the game before commenting. Dont compare this to Oblivion, but this is a great game in its own right, and it has a lot of things that Oblivion doesnt.
Play for more than an hour and it will grow on you which is what the online community have found out. Check the messageboards - it got flamed in the beginning, but the same people come out and openly declare their love for it now.
Dont advertise a review, if you write crap like this.
Why would he continue playing if what he had seen already was crap? There’s no point in continuing to play a game that you can’t stand.
Play the game for an hour, and the framerate improves. It is as if the game is loading textures into the 360 cache memory at first- kind of like what occured when Oblivion first came out. The interface is confusing at first, but only if you are used to Oblivion controls. The loading times are quick, you spend less time doing tediuos stuff, like repairing armor, sleeping, etc. This game is more like a 3d Diablo, or Baldurs Gate. The voice acting was actually good, and not performed by three actors trying to disguise their voices. I am additcted to this game, and love trying to level up and get items, and kill the huge variety of monsters. There is just so much more detail to this game than Oblivion, where everything is the same 4 or 5 locales with slight changes. Go out and rent this if you are not convinced.
I have to agree that this game is trash. It doesn’t feel like a finished product. Oblivion is better and this game is that much of a clone of it. It’s insulting to even compare this game to Oblivion.
It’s closer to Diablo or something like that instead like people have said. It seems like a rehash of other types of RPG’s we’ve all played, only it performs like crap. I gave it a few hours and got up to level 10, but hated every second of it. It’s not fun at all since everything is so extremely poorly executed. The framerate never improves, people must just get over it. I personally cannot get over a console game with a max framerate of about 24.

I agree this is the biggest piece of SHIT ever made. And in no way is close to Oblivion. It has the wost voice acting ever. I would rather have monkeys throw poo at me then play this garbage.
Wow, you must have an intelligence level to that of a 3rd grader. Next time instead of “going with the in crowd” try playing the game a tad longer. I know it sucks that you got your ass whipped by a bear or wolf. But this isn’t some dumbed down hand holding mainstreamed POS excuse for an RPG like oblivion! 2 worlds has more in common with morrowind and thats a good thing.
So it doesn’t have PS3 KILLZONE graphics or Oscar worthy voice acting…..BFD! The game is fun, but you need to play for longer then an hour. I know thats hard for pampered people who want instant gratification like yourself.

Theres an idea review a game without getting to far into it. Its like a review of FF1 after playing it for 20 minutes. The enemys all look the same, the story is a lame save the princes rehash and the magic system is very limited. Duck Hunt is such a better game why play this at all?I would say stay away from this Final Fanatasy and all games like it.
P.S Funny that he talks about the “PS2″ graphics under what is one the nicest shots of the game i have seen. Anyone know the armor set he’s got on?
Maybe if you would have played the game for a at least an hour you would see that the enemies are NOT repetitive. Even while going through a dungeon the enemies are diferent. I fought a group of skeletons and even they where not all te same, there where small ones, tall ones and even diferent colored one. And that’s not even to say the diferent animals and beasties you find in the wilds and even bandits look diferent from each other. I have yet to fight a group of enemies where all enemies look the same.
I know it has a few issues with frame rate and a few other things, but I would not dare sa that this game suck or even say that it’s bad. This is a really good game, It’s not an excelent game, but still really good. No thisis not a oblivion clone. I would actualy say that it close to fable gone GTA. The combat is fluid and fighting more than one enemy is actualy apealing and since your character isn’t restricted rom using anything you can even create a hybird. My character is a full blown fighting machine, but he also has a few magic tricks up his sleve, like the ability to resurect a dead foe to fight at his side, heal himself, summon an ally and call up a lightning storm to deal heavy damage if not obliterate the surounding foes.
My first impresion was bad, but after I played it for over an hour I discovered that there are far better things in this game and a bit of bad dialoge aint gonna ruin a great game.
Um I know the enemy’s arent repetitive, I was being ironic. Its a review of the NES FF1 not Two worlds. I was showing what it would be like if he had reviewed a classic the way he did TW
This game is awesome. So what it takes a while to get to the good points. It has alot of variety, landscapes change, from the nsowy home of glacier Orcs, to the Dra’kar destert, to the barren waste land of Gor grammar. Yes it is confusing the first 30 minutes. Yes the game is not the most realistic looking games out there. If you want realistic, go outside and hit you best friend with a stick. This game deserves as much credit as it can get. It is the first game from the devolpers. Would you trash the first Elder scrolls games? Why not? They were NEW, DIFFERENT, and two worlds is the same exact thing. So give it a chance.

yaaaaa two worlds is awsome! for those people who are using the voice acting as a lame excuse to put the game down should maybe pay attention to the story its not just some save the world game it has lots of depth to it, i was waiting for this game for a long time and it was dam well worth it and the duel weilidng and mounted combat with bows rocks, and there is going to be an update soon to improve the fram rate so shut up

I haven’t played much yet to really say what I think,, but as for graphic and the voices and the stick up my chars ass as he walks around,, IT SUCKS!!! but I will still try to look past that and like the game…

Shady Raptor, I played the game. It was awful and like I said, it didn’t deserve more than a few bullet points describing why it sucked and that isn’t how all of our reviews are going to be. You fucking people need to stop getting so goddamn defensive when someone has a different opinion than you.

I sure hope that all your reviews aren’t going to be like that, for your sites sake anyway. Two Worlds isn’t by any means “the best game ever”, but it does have plenty of aspects that are good that you seemed to have left out. Good reviews are written by laying out absolutely every aspect of a game, movie or whatever, and taking it all into consideration. Which, it is plain to see you did not do. This isn’t a review… it is exactly what you called it, an “opinion”. So what you should do is take this out of the list of reviews, and repost it as “Lawls Opinion”.

Yes you should be able to compare this game to Oblivion because human beings need to have standards and oblivion has become a standard for American’s worldwide. Of course the game doesn’t have to be just as great as oblivion graphics wise, I mean it is suppose to be “like” oblivion but with cooler more inovative stuff along with online playing, But no this game sucks major ass and I don’t even know how I somehow read good reviews for such a shitty game before buying the damn thing for 60 dollars and then really feeling like a dumb ass when I found out that it was fucking horrible. Yes this game suck, yes do not buy it, and no I will not give it a change….. Maybe for the means of suicide….

Alright. This game was slow and i am not impressed with the framerate. The magic system is limited and i was very upset with that. The controls are difficult to adjust to but it is possible. The story line seems kind of lame to begin with too. The biggest downfall is the lack of offline multi-player though. Oh and the horse controls are absolutely gruesome.Oh and the graphix though not horrible are not up to par with soem of the other 360 games
Now, that said i do enjoy this game. The first hour I was planning on taking it back and begging for a refund. But luckily I decided to stick it out. I got a bit further and got a little hitched. I made the limited magic system more fun for me by making combos and the summoning is fun. The combat is not horrible and the story line does get deeper as you go on. The weapons and armor are cool, and they even out the power between mages and fighters very well.
The game reminds me of dungeans and dragons for the x box (or baulders gate) and i think those who are comparing it to oblivion should stop now. Compare it to those other games and see the improvement. Its is a very good game and was not made to rival oblivion or take its fans. Its not even here to compete with oblivion, they are two completely different games and people should split their opinions and love or hate the game not based on how much they like the other.
