Anyway, take a look at the image above. Look like anyone familar? He’s going to be in the newest Tony Hawk addition, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, as an unlockable skater. His name is MCA (a member of the famous Beastie Boys), and he will be joining the long list of guest celebrities on the Tony Hawk series’ skater roster.

Activision has also announced that there will be a Guitar Hero III demo available for the Xbox 360 version of the game, and it will include five songs. The songs on the demo are Pearl Jam’s “Even Flow,” Tenacious D’s “The Metal” Priestess’ “Lay Down,” and two covers: Pet Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and the Scorpions’ “Rock You Like a Hurricane.”

In addition to these announcements, Activision has also revealed the game’s tracklisting, which, of course, has many of my favorite Hip-Hop and Punk artists on it. You can view this list by reading on.

Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and 3, the Wii, and Nintendo DS.
