IGN reviews Heavenly Sword as a… 7

By lawl

So it appears that Heavenly Sword, as IGN puts it, is just a “decent” game, with a 7.0 score, and not a console selling killer-app like Sony expected it to be.

After LAIR has also scored a few mediocre reviews already, prompting a delay, the Playstation 3 really only has Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune left this year in the realm of exclusives. Let’s just hope those two can deliver or Sony really has a problem.

Sony has a problem anyway. Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune vs. BioShock and Halo 3? Yeah right.

The game look great in terms of graphics and animation, but the the gameplay looked like a boring hack n slash. And I heard its like only 6 hours of gameplay. Hopefully Sony can get some killer apps soon.

    Looking further afield than IGN…

Scores an average of 83 on metacritic (at time of posting), with the IGN score by far and away the lowest there. Got bias ?
